The Miss Minnesota Organization

is about…

  • Scholarship

The Miss America Opportunity is the largest provider of scholarships to women in America, offering unprecedented opportunities to women all over the country. Personally, I have earned over $8000 from the Miss Minnesota Program!

With the financial support from MAO, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Viterbo University’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts in La Crosse, WI, receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Theatre and minors in Dance and Arts Administration.

I dream of eventually attending graduate school for a Masters of Fine Arts, with the ultimate goal of sitting as chair of a university Musical Theatre training program.

  • Service

Miss America is more than just a competition—it's a service-based organization that has ignited a profound passion within me for bringing the arts to children facing critical illness. Over the years, this involvement grew into my CSI: Artful Hearts: Empowering Children with the Magic of Creativity.

Some highlights throughout the years: in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Minnesota, I've been privileged to play a role in granting the magical wishes of children battling critical illness. I've joined forces with Crescent Cove, a pediatric hospice facility in Brooklyn Park, MN. As a children's performer, I've animated story time, bringing joy to children spending their final days in the group home. Additionally, my engagement with our exceptional children's hospitals involves organizing craft drives, creating moments of creativity and joy for children confronting the challenges of cancer.

Currently, I'm working on an exciting project with Artful Hearts. Stay tuned for more updates on this journey!

  • Style

The Miss Minnesota Organization might not be a traditional “pageant,” but that doesn’t mean we don’t have style! Contestants are encouraged to be polished, put together, fashionable, and to curate our own personal brand and style.

As for me, my passion lies in sustainability. I make a conscious effort to source my wardrobe from local Minneapolis thrift shops or rescue damaged clothing, giving them a new life through repairs. Waste not, want not!

Through my style choices, I aim not only to express my individuality but also to promote a more sustainable and conscious approach to fashion within the Miss Minnesota community.

  • Talent

Though only 90 seconds, talent is 20% of the total score of Miss Minnesota contestants. As a musical theatre artist, talent is my favorite! I love having the opportunity to show the audience a little bit of my heart. This year I am singing something absolutely magical, that I have always DREAMED of singing… stay tuned to see what it is!

Thanks to the Miss Minnesota Organization, I've had the incredible chance to perform across the state, from delivering the National Anthem to classroom renditions from Frozen. Want to bring a musical touch to your event? Count me in! Whether it's a nursing home, fundraiser, children's event, or any other occasion, I'm always ready to take the stage!

  • Success

I attribute so much of my personal success to my participation in the Miss Minnesota Organization. From sharpening my interview skills to building my network full of MAO sisters- I am who I am because I am Miss Minnesota Organization Alumni.

Beyond the crown, this organization has taught me about resilience, leadership, and trusting in myself. I am a product of MAO, and now, one of its biggest advocates!

This organization produces strong, capable, confident women. Miss America alumni are present and successful across all industries! To support this organization is to support opportunities for young women to grow, to learn, and to succeed.

“To prepare great women for the world, and the world for great women”

  • Fitness

#MissAmericaFit is back and better than ever! The Miss America Organization has partnered with the American Heart Association to talk about the role of fitness in a healthy lifestyle.

As a performer, fitness is a huge aspect of my life. I walk, run, lift weights, dance, and practice pilates to stay in performing shape - and to have fun!

#MissAmericaFit is about so much more than appearances - it is about celebrating the joy that comes from movement and taking care of ourselves. Throughout my personal fitness journey, I have fallen in love with taking group fitness classes at my local YMCA. From 18 to 80, movement is for everyone! A goal of mine is to become a certified barre instructor, teaching others about the joy of staying active.
